These are only procedures and guidelines for emergency situations. All units are not the same. Identifying the type of system will be necessary. The systems are 680 sys. The vertical arm was used until 2002. In 2002 the 2000 series was used with a train arm sys. The year 2003 and later has a 2000 series sys. With a lateral arm mechanism.
680 series sys. Front room:
1) Locks = open unlock solenoid this will keep locks open during operation
2) Make sure the air compressor is running. Check the seal and make sure it has deflated. If not you will have to manually deflate seal. Care will need to be taken if the seal is manually deflated.
3) Open room cylinder retracts solenoid.
If hyd. the pump will run the room will retract at this point if seal is deflated
4) Once the room is retracted close cylinder retract solenoid.
Train Arm Sys.
1) Locks = open unlock solenoid this will keep locks open during operation
2) Make sure the air compressor is running. Check the seal and make sure it has deflated. If not you will have to manually deflate seal. Care will need to be taken if the seal is manually deflated.
3) Open room cylinder extends solenoid.
If hyd. the pump will run the room will retract at this point if the seal is deflated.
4) Once the room is retracted, close cylinder extends solenoid.
Lateral Arm Room Extension
1) Make sure the air compressor is running. Check the seal and make sure it has deflated. If not you will have to manually deflate seal. Care will need to be taken if the seal is manually deflated.
2) Open room cylinder retracts solenoid. If hyd. the pump will run the room will retract at this point if the seal is deflated.
3) Once the room is retracted, a close cylinder retracts solenoid.
Wardrobe Scissor Extension
Note: This unit has no locks.
1) Make sure the air compressor is running. Check seal make sure seal has deflated. If not you will have to manually deflate seal. Care will need to be taken if the seal is manually deflated. (Remove air hose to the bladder. It will not deflate but will relieve air pressure)
2) The open room cylinder extends solenoid by turning valve release nut in the rear of the solenoid.
If hyd. the pump will run the room will retract at this point if the seal is deflated. If not, you can push the slide in with several people.
3) Once the room is retracted close cylinder extends solenoid.
Bed Slide Single Cylinder Extension
Note: This unit has locked up until early 2003 model
1) Locks = open unlock solenoid this will keep locks open during operation.
2) Make sure the compressor is running. Check the seal and make sure it has deflated. If not you will have to manually deflate seal. Care will need to be taken if the seal is manually deflated.
3) Open room cylinder retracts solenoid. If hyd. the pump will run the room will retract at this point if the seal is deflated.
4) Once the room is retracted close cylinder retract solenoid.

Procedure for retracting slide – If the hydraulic pump works (rear slide works fine).
1. Turn key to “ON” for slide on the instrument console and wait for the bladder to deflate. If it doesn’t deflate – Stop and go to Barry’s site for the procedure to pinch airline.
2. Turn 1/4″ nut on the end of the solenoid # 1 and 4 for 4 revolutions counter-clockwise – loosen. You should hear some sounds like Hyd. fluid moves?
3. Push the Retract button on the instrument console. The slides should come in. If not it will have to be manually pushed in by some strong guys/gals.
4. Turn key “OFF” bladder should inflate. Procedure for retracting slide – If the hydraulic pump works (rear slide works fine).
